Seattle, Wa –August 09, 2011—The name Adam Cappa may ring a bell if you’ve attended a Jeremy Camp concert this year as he’s been opening for Camp this past spring. BEC Recordings’ proudly announces Adam Cappa as an addition to their roster and his full-length label debut, The Rescue, releasing November 1. His debut radio single and title track, “The Rescue,” will be going for adds at AC and CHR radio on August 26.
The 25-year-old vocalist, guitarist, performer, young songwriter and communicator through and through, Adam Cappa is ready to share his heart. It all started when Adam got involved with Young Life after accepting Christ as a sophomore in high school. Fast-forward a few years and two independent records later, Cappa is focused on his passion for ministry.
"Ministry is my heartbeat,” defines Adam about his passion behind his career. ”Whatever that looks like, that’s my heartbeat. My life was changed when I met the Lord, and I desire to see the same change happen in others. I pray that God expands my opportunity to minister through my music.”
In writing and recording his label debut (third career album), Cappa enlisted producer Andy Dodd as well as co-producer Jeremy Camp, who has been involved in Cappa’s career from the beginning.
"I've come across many amazing musicians in my life, but it's few and far between where you find someone like Adam Cappa, who has a true passion for the Lord above anything else in his life, and is extremely talented as well,” shares Jeremy Camp. “It's been an honor to work on this project with him, and to have him become a dear friend. I'm exited to see what the Lord has in store for this talented new artist."
Cappa toured throughout the spring with Camp and will open for the “We Cry Out” tour this fall along with reigning GMA Artist of the Year Francesca Battistelli. He also recently performed in front of hundreds of retailers at the 2011 ICRS convention, at the New York City’s BB Kings Times Square venue, and will perform at this year’s Momentum Conference and Disney’s Youth Pastors Tent during Night of Joy in September.
